Sex Bias in Language

*It's such a pain in the ass that the online German dictionary I use has definitions for masculine roles like male runner and male doctor, but no definitions for the feminine counterparts.

I guess the father of that pain in the ass is that the German language has different words for the same thing depending on the sex of the person who does them.
